Location. Lakeland Village Beach & Mountain Resort is located in a secluded setting on the southern shore of Lake Tahoe in South Lake Tahoe, Calif. The base lodge of the Heavenly Ski Resort is less than two miles from the resort, and the gondola is less than one mile away. Casinos are one mile from the resort.
Features. Lakeland Village Beach & Mountain Resort is set on 19 wooded acres with one-quarter mile of private sandy beach on Lake Tahoe, offering a pier and boat moorings. In the winter, complimentary continental breakfasts are served in the Lakeshore Room or lobby. Two meeting rooms and the Pavilion Deck accommodate up to 150 guests. Wireless Internet access is available in public areas for a fee. A heated pool, children's wading pool and a six-person hot tub are open in the summer, with an adjacent sun deck offering barbecue grills and lounge chairs. Beach volleyball, a beachside snack shack, horseshoe pit, a fitness room and two pay-to-play tennis courts are also available. The courtyard next to a garden terrace features a year-round pool and an eight-person hot tub. Two saunas are provided in a separate building. The resort's Ski & Board Shop offers ski equipment rentals and hot waxing services. Complimentary shuttle service to the ski gondola, casinos, dining or wherever guests would like to go is provided. Organized children's activities are offered from Memorial Day to Labor Day.
Guestrooms. Studios, suites and town houses at Lakeland Village Beach & Mountain Resort are located in the resort's main lodge and 26 three-story buildings throughout the resort's grounds. All accommodations include wood-burning fireplaces and private balconies with views of the Lake Tahoe mountain terrain. Kitchenettes with mini fridges, four-burner ranges, microwave ovens, dishwashers and coffeemakers are provided in studios and one-bedroom suites. All other accommodations feature full kitchens. Cable television, VCRs and CD players/stereos are provided. The resort offers wood for the fireplaces for a fee, and will deliver it to the units upon request.
Expert Tip. Lake Tahoe features one of the greatest concentrations of winter sports in the world, including alpine skiing, sleigh rides, tubing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing, ice fishing, dog-sled rides and ice skating.

Approximate distance to the resort is 55 miles.
Exit the airport onto Route 395 South to Carson City.
Follow 395 South through Carson City to the junction of US-395 and US-50 West.
Bear right onto US-50 West towards Lake Tahoe.
Continue over Spooner Summit South Lake Tahoe.
Continue past the casinos approximately one mile.
Lakeland Village Beach & Mountain Resort is on the right.
Turn right into the main entrance and follow the signs to the lodge lobby.
