The Davis Inn is located on a tree-lined street across from the campus of the University of California in Davis, Calif. Restaurants and shops are less than one-half mile from the inn in downtown Davis. The UC Davis Arboretum, located on the University of California campus less than one mile away, features over 4,000 species of trees and plants in separate gardens that reflect different geographic areas, plant groups, horticultural themes and historic periods.
An arched trellis and a white picket fence frame the path leading to this Craftsman Bungalow home built in 1919. The front porch is furnished with red wicker chairs and a love seat. Complimentary full breakfasts, including pancakes, French toast, eggs, sausage, bacon, fresh fruit, pastries, bagels and cream cheese, are served each morning in the dining room or in the guestrooms. Complimentary wireless Internet is provided throughout the home. The inn features hardwood floors and high ceilings in the common areas and guestrooms. The common sitting room offers an eclectic collection of board games and books, and a piano. A gazebo in the backyard offers seating, and is decorated with hanging plants. Pets are not allowed at the property.

Take Airport Boulevard south toward Lindbergh Drive.
Merge onto I-5 South toward Sacramento/Yuba City.
Merge onto I-80 West via Exit 522 toward San Francisco.
Take the Richards Boulevard exit, Exit 72A, toward downtown.
Make a slight right turn onto Richards Boulevard.
Proceed under the train trestle.
Keep to the left as Richards Boulevard becomes First Street.
Turn left onto First Street and continue five blocks until street dead ends at A Street.
Turn right onto A Street and proceed four-and-one-half blocks to the inn.
