The Beach Terrace Inn is decidedly one of the best values in Carlsbad, California. Positioned right on the beach in a quiet residential area, this oceanfront property is only four blocks from the children's museum and less than three miles from Legoland. Praised by leisure travelers and family vacationers, the Beach Terrace Inn is close to restaurants, shopping and seaside recreation.
Gently resting beneath a ceiling of palm trees, the outdoor pool and sundeck is a soothing environment, where a hot tub, vibrant plant life and the aroma of the Pacific renders feelings of weightlessness. A complimentary breakfast is served each morning. Wireless Internet access is complimentary throughout the hotel.
There are 49 suites and guestrooms, most with private balconies, sweeping- ocean and surf views. Guests can choose between spacious suites with fireplaces, separate bedrooms and kitchenettes, or distinctively furnished Grand Guestrooms in the Pool Terrace building. A few smaller studio units are also available. With lamp- lighting, traditional decor and modern amenities, these beachfront guestrooms were designed to remind guests of home. All guestrooms include refrigerators, coffeemakers, complimentary local calls, work desks and cable television.
Renovation Notice:
This hotel is currently upgrading its public areas and guestrooms, and plans to begin renovation of its lobby area in summer 2006. Construction is not underway on a daily basis. Renovations are scheduled for completion in early 2008 (completion dates subject to change).
